![]() Form-Fitting Wardrobe: Amitie and especially Ringo comment multiple times on how form-fitting Tee's jumpsuit is, and how lovely it is.There's also Tee's willingness to help anyone to contrast against Ess, who is able to recognize when something is out of their hands and wanting to think of a different solution. Ess has Hidden Depths that make her quite in tune with other's emotions while Tee can come off as a bit too distant or unemotional, not completely understanding how to deal with heavier emotions such as shame or embarrassment. Ess is also the Emotion to Tee's stoicism. Their opposite personalities serve to highlight how different the members of the tetra can be, and also serve to fill in gaps of leadership styles. They are both characters in leadership positions compared to the rest of the crew, but Ess is rude and tactless while Tee is reasonable and respectful. Tee's card in Puyo Puyo Quest describes him as self-conscious about his actions (While also placing Ex on a pedestal in his lines) while Ex is genuinely silly and hotheaded. Going deeper, Ex is cocky in his abilities and has the strength and power to back it up, while Tee's confidence is largely implied to be less than genuine in his appearances. Tee is a The Stoic and presents himself as calm, collected and rational while Ex is also described as serious but he also is quite goofy and down to earth. They have both held the title of Captain and the Tetris King but it's clear that they are quite different. Fish out of Water: In addition to not knowing what Puyo battles were (or what a Puyo even was, for that matter), his dimension doesn't seem to have any sugary sweets of any kind, which troubles Lemres.Final Boss: Of Puyo Puyo Tetris and of the 10th Chapter (DLC only).Tee has gone on record saying there are very few squishy things in his world at all. Goes a step further when Word of God confirms that not only sweet foods have captivated him, but squishy foods as well. This is due in part to sweet things not existing in the Tetris universe. Far-Out Foreigner's Favorite Food: In Tetris, Tee gets a taste for sweets after being given some by Lemres. The Face: Due to being The Captain and the Only Sane Man of the crew, Tee is usually the one who does most of the talking.Expy: Of Ringo, being an Only Sane Man encountering the utter zaniness of the rest of the cast. His win * I never back down and loss * I’ll do better next time quotes also reflect this aspect of his personality.According to Ex, even though Tee lost the first time they met, he did not stop challenging Ex until he won.Deadpan Snarker: While Tee is usually polite, he's certainly capable of delivering some very stinging lines.Deadly Disc: Wields a chakram in his attacks.Challenge Seeker: He first met Ex to challenge him to a Tetris match because he heard he was strong. The Captain: In addition to being the Tetris King, he is also the captain of the Starship Tetra.Tee: Most likely due to a tear in the boundary between two dimensions. Cannot Tell a Joke: In Chapter 8 of Puyo Puyo Tetris he has to do stand-up comedy with Maguro, and it goes.He later also forces him to confront the fact that Marle went easy on him. His deconstruction of Squares' motivations and the reasons he keeps losing can be quite blunt. In Tetris 2, Tee doesn't hesitate to claim that Ex can be a bit of a hassle to deal with. His blunt dismissal of Jay and Elle after they ask if they were the 'cruel and nasty people' Ringo and Arle were referring to in Tetris. On the occasions where he's more so the former. Brutal Honesty: Tee can either be extremely blunt or very tactful.Brooklyn Rage: Tee’s alternate voice in Tetris 2 gives him a Brooklyn accent.Puyo match between him (as the playable character) and Ringo. The main story starts with a Tetris vs.Puyo Puyo Tetris starts with him as the main character in the Starship Tetra ending with him as the Final Boss, and - counting the DLC episodes - ends with him as the Final Boss once more.Berserk Button: Don't insult/downplay his title as the Tetris King, and don't refer to him as 'basic'.Bait-and-Switch Boss: Thought Ex was going to be the Final Boss in the main story? Well, it's actually Tee.Badass Armfold: He often has his arms crossed.Authority Sounds Deep: In the English version, Tee has the deepest voice of the Tetra crew, befitting his role as the captain and Tetris King. ![]()
